It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The project for Interlaken Tourismus began with this concept in mind. The project took 20 months to complete and we have successfully recreated the holiday destination online. The final concept is a clear, engaging and modern website providing details for each of the 16 resorts and numerous service providers and incorporating links to a number of microsites alongside the main site interlaken.ch.
In addition to the elegant appearance, this project focuses on the importance of storytelling and SEO. The aim of the site is not to sell services but to engage with potential visitors and appeal to their curiosity with interesting stories, images and facts, and later redirect them to the individual sites of local tourism partners.
